Spreading the Word

We're in the papers!

For those of you who turned up at the start of last week's Kicking Off Party at Caffe Nero in Chelmsford, you'll have been aware that a journalist and photographer had also come along! And this week, the story has been printed in the Essex Chronicle newspaper (p28)! So, just in case there's anybody that hasn't seen it and would like to, I thought I'd post a link to to the online version - you can find it here.

You can also find a more nationwide story in The Independent newspaper here, talking about NaNoWriMo 2010.

Keep writing everybody!

Essex Nametag Bingo

Just in case there's anybody that didn't get their Tie-shaped Bingo Nametag, here it is! The picture should enlarge if you click on it. Just print it off, punch a couple of holes in the top and thread with a string of your choice! Then wear it! And don't forget to colour in/check off/mark the bands you have completed!

Welcome All!

Hello everyone!

First of all, I'd like to thank everybody for coming to the Kick Off Party today! It was so fantastic to see you all, and what a fabulous turn-out! To think, Stu and I were worrying that hardly anybody would turn up! With such a great bunch of local writers around to support each other, we're in for one fantastic November!

Since we all swapped emails and contact details, we thought it might be a nice idea to set up this blog! This way we can all keep up with how everybody is doing during November, and perhaps means we can all stay in touch throughout the rest of the year too! Everyone's been invited as an author/contributor, so please feel free to post an update on how your NaNoWriMo novel (or other writing project!) is going, and let us know what you're up to! Or if you have any advice, or other writing-related news, please don't hesitate to post and share!

You might notice that I've put up a list of emails/contact details on a separate page. I'd just like to assure everyone that this blog is only viewable by its authors (that's all of us!), and so is not available to the public at large. (Please review the emails, and make any corrections as necessary!)

And don't forget to check out this next week's edition of the Essex Chronicle!

Good luck everybody!
